OG NASA is the rap persona of Russell Stoner, a New York City comedian and SAG-AFTRA actor who writes bars the way he writes jokes: fast, specific, and a little bit unhinged.
The catalog started in December 2020 as freestyles recorded into a phone and never stopped. Battle tapes on RapFame. A mixtape under the name Homeboy Rus, FreshUrbanCityKid [F.U.C.K.] The Mixtape, which somehow got its own AllMusic page before it ever got a distributor. Songs about aliens, God, weed, his mother, New York, and why your favorite rapper is washed. One hundred tracks deep and not a single one was ever put on Spotify.
That was the old way. The vault is being remixed, remastered, and released properly, one single at a time.
His BandLab bio says it in five words: "I walk through music."
By day he is on film and TV sets. By night he is in the booth.
